Working Principle of Pilotech Vacuum Belt Dryer

The material to be dried is fed into the vacuum chamber of the vacuum belt dryer by a screw metering pump and evenly spread on the conveyor belt by a spreading motor. The specially designed roller shaft drives the conveyor belt to run at a preset speed. Independent heating and cooling plates are provided under the conveyor belt to ensure close contact and efficient heat transfer. The conveyor belt speed is adjusted according to the properties of the material. The material is dried and cooled as it is conveyed from one end of the cylinder to the other. After drying, the material is stripped from the conveyor belt, crushed, and discharged through a butterfly valve. The resulting powder can be directly used for capsule filling or tableting.

The entire system is controlled by a PLC with a user-friendly PC-based human-machine interface (HMI). The on-site touch screen panel allows real-time adjustment and monitoring of process parameters, production data and other settings.
